Peter is an experienced IT consultant with extensive expertise in Business Analysis, Requirements Management, Business Process Management and Software Engineering. Certified Business Analysis Professional and founding member of the Sofia and Vienna chapters of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Member of the core team that developed the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) Guide v3.

Solution Architecture Foundations provides an architectural framework and lifecycle that organisations can use to solve business problems holistically and effectively.  Tools and techniques are explained in detail for easy adoption by professionals working in the field.  The focus is on ensuring that all aspects of business change are included in the solution design (not just software) and this means that business analysts are needed as part of the team. By including the Solution Architecture Foundations in our Book Rubric, we intend to:    - encourage the business analysts to see themselves as part of the solution architecture team in a wider context.    - to continue working on improvement of BAs <--> SAs collaboration.
Mark Lovatt is an experienced solution architect, having worked on many transformative projects most recently focusing on the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), providing solutions within hospitals and primary care. Mark is the deputy chief examiner for Solution Development at the BCS and lectures on enterprise and solution architecture, analysis and design of software and software engineering.
